Taking the day off to recover from the time with the kids. Also want to get some stuff done: make beer, mow the lawn, maybe even update this website. Two improvements I want to make.

Survived the weekend alone with the kids. Actually, I had a great time with them, although it didn't seem like it at the time.

Waiting for the 6:50 train and the 7:29 is here, with people boarding. They could get on with me and be in Penn when that train leaves. Or still be sleeping.

Finally cleaned some of the stuff out of the garage, so that I can get my car back in. It's been a while, and it's just the principal of it.

At least I know that we won't be heading back to the beach again this summer. Let's vacation at the pool!

Father's Day at the beach was nowhere near the fun I thought it would be. Fifteen minutes is all the kids would have lasted.

Father's Day snack at day care and no one knows where my kids are. Well, everyone says someplace different. This should be a great snack.

I think Luke's wearing a belly shirt and Ella's pants can't be pulled all the way up. No matter, Luke's bummed because we missed pajama day.

Why am I so tired this week? I rarely can sleep on the railroad, and yet, I can barely keep my eyes open later. Yet, I still get to the gym each morning.

Wearing my new Super Grover shirt, since I thought I'd have to save the world (at work) again. I didn't, but I think I fixed something major.

Is it odd to say the dump looked nice? The put a nice canopy over the dumpsters. Plus no wait: an hour to load, ten minutes to unload.

Enjoying a nice pint of Sam Adams Summer Ale to end the work week. I remember a time that the summer was he one beer I didn't like.

Another week just about over. Work from he tomorrow, despite the short week. Then another weekend chasing and shuttling the kids around.

This morning, walking into day care, I had to remind the kids not to stop and smell the plastic flowers.

Sam Adams Summer mix pack is pretty good: the two new ones aren't that special, but good; Summer Ale gets better; and Blackberry is a change

Of course: no money, no lunch, and family lunch postponed. At least I could borrow $5 and get falafel from Mamoun's.

Part two of the home remodeling was completed yesterday. The plumber did his thing last week, and just waiting for flooring Friday.

Into the home stretch of single dad-dom. The best part is that the kids have been sleeping at night. The worst thing is trying to do things.

One day down of being single Dad. Two more to go until Jenny gets home. Thanks to Mom and Dad for helping with the kids.

Homemade beer is bottled; breakfast was made and eaten; off to mow the lawn. Which am I hoping for: rain or mower won't start?
